Michael A. Durant
Michael A. Durant became associated with the firm in 2001. Mike graduated from Florida State University in 1980 with a degree in criminology and a minor in economics. He graduated from Cumberland School of Law in 1984 and began his legal career in Jacksonville, Florida. Since moving to Naples in 2001, he has concentrated his practice on commercial and residential property transactions and focuses on commercial lending for real estate transactions. In Jacksonville, he volunteered many hours in professional, civic and religious organizations. He was the chairman of the Florida Bar Unlicensed Practice of Law, subcommittee member of the American Inn of Court for Trial Lawyers. Mike was a member of the Sertoma Club, elected as Director of the Queens Harbour Home Owners Association, elected to the Vestry of his church and from 1995 to 2001 was the Church Attorney for the Episcopal Diocese of Florida. Since his move to Naples, he has joined and become involved in the Collier Building Industry Association, Trinity by the Cove Episcopal Church, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Optimist Club. Mike and his wife, Sandy, have three daughters, Avery, Alyssa and Madeline.
